Paris: Père Lachaise Cemetery & 5em arrondissement

What do normal people do at the day of all saints? Right. They get together, visit tombs of their loved ones and refresh in memory pleasant moments they had together in the past. What did three French and one Russian do? They went to Père Lachaise Cemetery. A cemetery? Correct. Refreshing memory? I have some doubts.

Anyway, it was my first time at this famous cemetery. Yes, I’m not a big fan of tombs and dead people. Although its architecture and the treasure hunting style the most of us use while visiting Père Lachaise attract me a lot. The day was just perfect for a cultural visit: it was raining, slight wind and high humidity, all what I like.About Père Lachaise Cemetery in French and English: Pere lachaise

The cemetery was empty. Only several small groups were searching for particular tombs, verifying themselves with the maps all the time.
